I read his response and I must say, there was plenty of legal hyperbole involved. First off to declare this an act of cyberterrorism is taking advantage of safeguards put into place to protect this country, not some guy who has 8 million ads and significantly fewer interesting pieces of content. The only thing I found interesting was the GI Joe PSAs that weren't created on there anyway. If the Lohan item was really created here before ebaum, then the creation date should settle this (final Oct. 25) Let us see ebaum prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the attacks were organized here, sanctioned by the head of this Web site and were not perpetrated mostly by those outside of the YTMND community. Now... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PEOPLE COME UP WITH SOME NEW FUNNY **** SOON!!!!! I would also like to state that I do not agree with part of the statement from ebaum and I will not strip off my clothes as they told me to ("Please bare with us during this time and rest assured we will be back at 100% very soon")

I'm going to try to be as professional as I can with this comment: To be honest, when I first started reading the letter to Max I got scared, but as I continued to read the letter I noticed how truly immature and hypocritical the staff members of EB inc truly are. He calls us all kinds of names cuz we are members of a site, yet he takes the low road and calls us "most of your entire website is comprised of pathetic, pimply-faced maladjusted pre-teens whose parents don't love them, and their best Saturday night date takes AA batteries" Way to act like a VP of a company using that language. Hell, can't we all sue him for defamation of character? F**k Neil and his policies. I hope the entire company as a whole fails and implodes. ytmnd 1 ebums 0

I love this site. Although people do beat old primitive jokes into the ground here it is a place where people can log on FOR FREE and make things to amuse themselves and others. It's sad that a piece of sh*t site like ebaums (which hosts videos and other things you can see on other sh*tty sites like theirs) would rip off a user from ytmnd. That being said, just keep up the good work man. P.S. I'm sure the Ebaum guy hasn't seen a decent piece of pussy since the late 90's

Max, you clearly showed that you are the better man, and are right about this subject. I liked watching ebaums content, but when I saw then blatantly steal content and not even give credit to a fellow YTMND warrior, it really pissed me off. I wrote a letter to Ebaums, hopefully they will realize what huge douches they are. Please FBI, bring Mulder and Scully back, I LOVE THAT SHOW.

well I must say after reading that, I decided to join ytmnd,in support of Max. Mr. Ebaum has no right to say I don't love my child, and as for what I do on saturday, My mp3 player takes TRIPLE A batteries! He called your bluff Max. You're going to have to be the better man and live up to your bargain. Though it's easier for them to lose one gif than it is for you to police this entire site for eBaums ytmnds, which are user created. At first I thought it was a small victory, but now I see eBaums got the much better deal and might call you on it when all your 'loving' users create ways to get around not being able to make eBaums ytmnds. Don't get me wrong, they're a sh*tty website with 0 original content and loads of ads, and this is great place. But I think you got shafted with the shadier deal.

I love how Neil goes on about professionalism, but makes a Jewish joke, criticizes and stereotypes YTMND users, and uses the word 'LOL'. Real professional. Good show, Max.

I never realized this before, but Max... I love you, man. Way to fight the good fight and stay honest. This YTMND community sure can give you a lot of sh*t from time to time and you're likely getting gray hair because of this, but you'll stand up and fight for us anyway. RESPECT.

I apolagize for being negative, however I do not intend to "Pay". I love this website, one of the reasons is because it's free. I don't want YTMND to sell out like everything else i've loved in the past. Seems the trend wont end. Also, I have a lot of YTMND's that are inner jokes with my friends. Obviously they've ranked really low, but my friends and I find them hilarious. It's too bad they'll delete because of downvoting...

I agree that auto-deletion is a bad idea, but I do look forward to paid accounts and maybe one day when I am not having to chose between internet goodies and food I will buy one. Also having moderation is a bad idea IMO; YTMND will lose some of the "edgy" and "in your face" "raw" appeal. Also please for the love of god make persistant logins that last more than 10 minutes PLEASE :) I

Max, I've been coming to YTMND since they were individual sites with seperate domain names. I personally think the paid users idea is good, but for the love of God don't make it a recurring payment. It's the one thing that stops me from signing up for almost anything. I don't want the extra hassle. One thing you might consider, for paid users, is the ability to choose between the corner image and the ! # system that we all loved so much. (Globally, not just for their sites.) I'd also like to see a loader for those sites that always have "Refresh" in their titles. I have absolutely no idea how you would implement this as I don't know if there are any calls you can make from within the browser to get loading status data but it's a thought. Here's another one I just thought of: Make SURE that people are required to type in their image and sound origins before the site creation system will allow them to submit. That's about all for me.

Okay, when half the sites I access are a black screen, and I'm forced to weed through Picard, Conan, WoW, and MATHPWND, you can go straight to hell as far as garnering $$$. "Show this to the old woman?" Sponsored? Are you f*cking high? I love this site more than any other, even though people bust my balls for it. But for chrissakes, this auto-delete bullsh*t is just dumb. I don't want this place reduced to Blue Balls and sites you think are cute that amount to having the humor of a test pattern. I understand that you have a rough task everyday running this site, and you do it out of love rather than it being lucrative, but if you want YTMND to self destruct, just come out and say so. Let's not overthink things...especially since this site began with something incredibly moronic and silly. It's hard to swallow the idea of you considering yourself the arbiter of fine intarwebbing in light of that.
